MAYBELLINE LIP POLISH SWATCHES AND REVIEW!

Hi, peeps!

Pretty sure you've seen there before. In Jakarta they don't come in as much colours as in the US. From what I see, it is only available in 3 colours here and I got 2 of em!

Here are the shades available as of now (minus the limited edition ones):

Now, for the packaging. As you can see, it is a clear plastic tube with the inside shaped like a regular lipstick. To me this is quite interesting and a lot of people are loving the packaging. However, lets be real, the product is the factor that can make or break the product.

Maybelline Lip Polish in POP 5

Maybeline Lip Polish in Glam 6 (my fave!)

GLAM 6 & POP 5

Good points:

• Feels soft and buttery
• Really pigmented (especially Glam 6)
• It Stains your lips in a non-patchy way 
• Hydrating
• Ambiguous packaging that makes it unique

Bad Points:

• Only come in 3 colours in Jakarta. Boooooo!

Final Verdict:

• It is a fantastic lip gloss
• Go get it now!

Therefore, splendid review on this product! For a girl who doesn't love lip glosses, this product really has made me a convert!

BH COSMETIC SAN FRANCISCO PALETTE

Hi, peeps! 

It is time for the 3rd round of the BH Cosmetic's reviews. I have done It's Judy Time by BH Cosmetic's review here, and also BH Cosmetics blush duo here.

Now it is time for their palette.

I picked up the San Francisco palette because for me personally, it has the most wearable colours.

Here are the variety of the palette available:

As you can see, the Malibu palette is going to be beautiful for blue eyed girls (or boys), and the Hollywood palette, well, it is just too wild for me. Therefore I reside to the San Francisco palette.

Let's first and foremost talk about the packaging, It is made out of cardboard, therefore it is light and the thickness is only 2cm, therefore it is the perfect palette for traveling. It has a great mirror therefore it is a one stop shop for your makeup, however, it doesn't stand on its own even though the have put some ribbon to keep it from falling all the way to the back. In conclusion, you still have to hold on to it in order to make use of the mirror.

Next let's move on to the more interesting part, which are the swatches!

Left side of the palette

The left side of the palette is much more neutral in term of tones. It is more brown and copper with a touch of 'almost black with a hint of something' colours. It has a mixture of matte and shimmer and also satin finishes. The 2nd colour down on the right is perfect for a transitioning colour on the crease. It will help with your blending tremendously.

Right side of the palette

this side has more of a cooler tone. it has some frost finishes and blue undertones. This side when cobined with the left side will give you a beautiful contrast and the play in opposing tones will work beautifully and create more depth in your eye look.

This palette also come with a secret 2nd compartment with is the blushers and highlight. This part I'm quite disappointed on. It has little to no pigmentation except for the brightest blush in the palette. here are the swatches:

Good Points:

• Compact packaging, great for traveling
• It has 2 tones of eyeshadow (warm & cool), easy to mix and match
• It comes with a mirror
• Usable blush, highlight, and bronzer if you are only taking this to travel with

Bad points:

• Bronzer and highlight doesn't transfer well to the skin
• Eyeshadow tend to be a little powdery esp. when you pick it up using a fluffy brush
• The mirror need to be held 

Final Verdict:

This is a great choice if you are just starting out with makeup and you would like to try a lot of different colours and tones. it is also handy because it comes with a blush, bronzer, and highlighting powder. The powdery finish of the product can be improved, but it is not at all bad. It is decent with a little something extra. If you are also looking to travel light, this is a good choice for you because it really has everything you will need.

SIMPLE IS GOOD ENOUGH

Hi, peeps!

This is my first 'fashion' post. Just an outfit I wore to work. Decided to keep it simple with a top and a pair of jeans. Not any other jeans, but the -oh so orgasmic- 7 jeans. I really don't know what is up with me and jeans lately. I used to stay away from jeans as much as possible. Actually, I lied, I know why I'm now obsessed. It is simply because all the jeans that has grazed my thighs (sound really dirty there, but I'm not going to re-phrase it) are not my size!

I now learn that it is most important to get jeans that fit well, and that means:

• no gap on the top back
• your blood circulation should feel normal (yes, that's a thing)
• and finally, the most important question --> how does my a#s look in these jeans?

Anywho, back to my outfit, this outfit is born out of laziness and the urge to sleep for an extra hour. We all have those days (or week). Come on, don't make me feel like a weirdo here.

NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown

 Reason why I love this pencil is because it is soft, and it doesn't take a lot of products to fill in your eyebrow. And because you don't have to sharpen it, you won't waste any product.

The Face Shop Face It Clear Mascara

You can definitely use an eyebrow gel/set, but why waste your money when clear mascara works just fine?

NYX Above & Beyond Full Coverage Concealer

Long name huh? This is completely an extra step, but if you desire that perfected, sharp, can cut through glass (i might've went too far with that one there) look, you can try using a concealer!

BH FLORAL BLUSH DUOS REVIEW!

Hi everyone!

I'm back with another review on BH Cosmetics Floral Blush Duo. i have 2 shades, which are Rose, and Iris.

Here is the write up on these bushes from BH Cosmetic's website:

"Every budding beauty needs the perfect cheek flush.  BH Floral Blush Duos are inspired by flower petals and their feminine, soft colors and include two shades inside each mirror, magnetic palette.  Swirl the two shades together and apply or use them separately to sculpt a lovely glow."

To be completely honest with you, I have not mixed both colours together and put it on my face. Reason for that is because the shade Rose are both satin finish, so no point there. And Iris has a matte finish and a shimmery finish, therefore if I swirl it together, I'm afraid that it will compromise the consistency of the matte blush.

Anywho, enough of the rambling, lets get on with the swatches and I will give you my final verdict at the end :)

Matte & Satin

Both Shimmery

Good Points:

• Great Packaging
• Comes with a decent size mirror
• 2 products in one!
• An array of shades to choose from depending on your skin tone
• Pigmentation is fantastic!

Bad Points:

• The matte shade in Iris can be a bit overwhelming for beginners. Use a light hand.
• Some of the lighter shade can be a little too dark to be a highlight but a little too light to be a blush

Final Verdict:

I reckon that these blushes are worth the try! You can get it at BH Cosmetics website, or from instagram stores in Jakarta such as Haulalashop.

So if you are looking for affordable blushes with great pigmentation, BH is the answer!

BRUNO MARS LIVE! IN JAKARTA!

Hey, peeps!

Anyone else watched Bruno Mars concert in Jakarta? I thought the performance was amazeballs!!!!

 The venue could use a bit of work, the system in which the fans go in an out of the venue can definitely be improved, but holy mother of everything that is great it was amazing!

As Barney would say, it was legend...wait for it...dairy!
